Maple Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers (in oven)

When you think of a cl،ic bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers recipe, you think of sliced jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and then wrapped with bacon. Well, we’re here to share our secret that takes these from delicious to EPICALLY delicious.

The answer? Maple syrup! Before roasting in the oven at 400ºF, brush a little maple syrup on top of the bacon. I kid you not, it is life-changing. The slight sweetness brings out the savoriness of the bacon and pairs beautifully with the stuffed jalapeños.

What You Need for Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

  • Jalapeños
  • Cream cheese
  • Greek yogurt
  • Garlic powder
  • Thick-cut bacon
  • Maple syrup

You’ll notice that we also used a little Greek yogurt, which is different than the cl،ic variation. It makes the filling so creamy!

  • Make it ،ier: instead of pitting the jalapeños completely, leave some seeds, which will add some ،e.

Can you make bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers in the air fryer?

Spray the bottom of your air fryer basket and then place the poppers on top. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket. Air fry at 400ºF for 15 minutes. Check the bacon and continue cooking until it reaches the desired texture.

Make-Ahead Directions

You can absolutely make these the day before. Just ،emble these jalapeño poppers on a baking sheet and then cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. When you’re ready to cook, follow the baking directions in the recipe card.


Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
