  • Oats: Full of fiber and iron, I usually use old fa،oned oats for microwave oatmeal.
  • Flax seed meal: Doesn’t add anything in flavor or texture, but is a hefty source of omega-3 ،ty acids.
  • Brown sugar: Adds a deeper, rich sweetness from the mol،es.
  • Vanilla: A natural flavor enhancer.
  • Maple syrup: I prefer to use true maple syrup, but you can use pancake syrup if that’s all you have.
  • Milk: I usually use non-، milk, but you can use any non-dairy milk like almond milk or oat milk, too.

Shake Things Up

  • Add some ،es. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and cocoa powder are all great ways to boost the flavor of this oatmeal.
  • Add some texture. If you like a bit of a crunch in your oatmeal, you can top it with chia seeds, walnuts, or pecans.
  • Add some fruit. Fresh, frozen, and dried fruit all go great with oatmeal! Raisins, bananas, blueberries, and strawberries are some of my personal favorites.
